Baseball Recap: Brackett Takes a Loss

Brackett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 9-8 heartbreaker at the hands of the Charlotte Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 13-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Brackett's record is now 2-9. As for Charlotte, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Brackett will face off against rival Sabinal at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Charlotte is set to square off against their familiar foe Three Rivers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
