Corry strolled into their game on Thursday with an undefeated record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the North East Grape Pickers with a sharp 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Beavers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Corry not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept North East between 15 and 18 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-17, 25-18.

Regan Kemp paced Corry's offense, picking up 13 kills. Kemp got some help from Haley Mumau and her 26 assists. Kemp was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Corry's victory bumped their record up to 26-0-3. As for North East, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6-1 record this season.

Corry will take on Portville at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for North East, they will venture away from home to square off against Cathedral Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
