Basketball Recap: Sioux Center Comes Up Short

Sioux Center lost against MOC-Floyd Valley back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Sioux Center Warriors took a blow against the MOC-Floyd Valley Dutchmen, falling 73-31. The loss was the Warriors' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Sioux Center fell to 2-1. As for MOC-Floyd Valley, they pushed their record up to 2-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sioux Center will challenge Spencer at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for MOC-Floyd Valley, they will square off against Sibley-Ocheyedan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. MOC-Floyd Valley has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 199 points over their last three games.
