Basketball Recap: Prairie View Academy Takes a Loss

If Prairie View Academy was feeling good fresh off their 66-11 takedown of Franklin Academy last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Prairie View Academy Spartans came up short against the River Oaks Mustangs on Thursday, falling 69-45. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 255th, while the Mustangs are ranked 45th).

Despite the loss, Prairie View Academy still got an impressive performance from Tollan Wallace, who went 6 for 14 on his way to 13 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Abram Anthony, who posted five points in addition to 12 rebounds and four steals.
