Basketball Recap: West Jordan Starts off Right with Win over Jordan

West Jordan had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Jordan Beetdiggers by a score of 63-52. The game was the first time the Jaguars have beaten the Beetdiggers on their court since January 10, 2017.

Tofilaumua Delacerna had an outrageously good game as she went 6-for-14 to rack up 20 points. What's more, she posted four boards, the most she's had since back in December of 2024. Naveah Crosby was another key player, putting up 12 points and three steals.

Coming up, West Jordan won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Skyridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Jordan, they will take on West at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
