Basketball Recap: Hinsdale Takes a Loss

Hinsdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 71-67 heartbreaker at the hands of Holy Family Academy. The Pacers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Holy Family Academy earlier this season, when they won 46-36.

Hinsdale's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Holy Family Academy, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Hinsdale will venture away from home to face off against Newmarket at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Newmarket will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Hinsdale surely won't give up without a fight. As for Holy Family Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 71-56 win against Pittsfield on the 4th.
