Basketball Game Preview: Breckenridge Huskies vs. Montabella Mustangs

The Breckenridge Huskies will head out on the road to take on the Montabella Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Breckenridge is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Breckenridge came up short against Vestaburg and fell 53-40.

Meanwhile, Montabella took a blow against Sacred Heart Academy on Tuesday, falling 86-31. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 427th, while the Irish are ranked 188th).

Breckenridge now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Montabella, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-7.

Breckenridge came up short against Montabella in their previous matchup back in January, falling 48-43. Can Breckenridge avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
