Edgewood waltzed into their game on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Brown County Eagles with a sharp 9-0 win. Edgewood might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by five goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Brown County from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Kade Gilchrist led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for five goals all by himself.

Edgewood's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Brown County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2-1.

Looking ahead, Edgewood is taking a road trip to square off against Cascade at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Edgewood will be up against Cascade's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.4 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Brown County, they will host Northview at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
