Volleyball Recap: Villa Park Takes a Loss

Villa Park managed to slip by Esperanza the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Villa Park Spartans came up short against the Esperanza Aztecs on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Aztecs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Villa Park and nudges their season record down to 1-6. As for Esperanza, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Villa Park will welcome Foothill at 5:30 p.m. on March 6th. As for Esperanza, they will take on Crean Lutheran at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
