Normandy won against North Olmsted on Thursday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. Everything went the Invaders' way against the Valley Forge Patriots as they made off with a 10-3 win. The victory was nothing new for the Invaders as they're now sitting on three straight.

Dillon Vargo tossed a big game, striking out six batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Lukas Steele, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Sikon, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Normandy's record now sits at 6-12. As for Valley Forge, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Normandy will venture away from home to challenge Holy Name at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Valley Forge, they will head out to take on Rhodes at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Patriots' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rams have averaged an impressive 9.2 runs per game this season.
