Gilbert Christian gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They blew past the Snowflake Lobos 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Gilbert Christian never let Snowflake on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-16, 25-22.

Gilbert Christian found their leader in sophomore Shay Loth, who had 20 digs and four aces. Loth is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played dating back to last season.

Gilbert Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Mingus on the 29th. As for Snowflake, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Tuba City on the 2nd.
