Recap: Edgewood Bulldogs vs. Prairiland Patriots
In what's become a running theme this season, the Edgewood Bulldogs gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They really took it to Prairiland for the full four quarters, racking up a 52-21 victory at home. With Edgewood ahead 32-6 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Edgewood had a senior duo take command as Blair McPherson scored 23 points along with six rebounds and three steals and Kassidy Paul dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds. Paul hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Brilee Ditto, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Edgewood pushed their record up to 21-8 with that victory, which was their 20th straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.6 points per game. As for Prairiland, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-16.
Coincidentally, Edgewood and Prairiland will both be playing Lone Oak the next time they take the court. Edgewood will head out to face Lone Oak at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Prairiland will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
