Big Game from Litmer As Highlands Won 55-0
Starting off the list is Highlands's Rio Litmer, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Litmer threw for 134 yards and four touchdowns on perfect 7-for-7 passing, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played.
This year, Litmer has thrown 15 touchdowns while averaging 161.8 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 58 passing yards per game.

Mason Stanton Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Cooper picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Mason Stanton. Stanton showed up in a big way, picking up two sacks and making seven total tackles. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 5.1 total tackles per game. We marked that as the best he's had all season, even better than his effort two weeks ago.
On the season, Stanton has averaged 5.1 total tackles per game and for the season has those 2 sacks. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he had one sack.

Isaiah Johnson Dazzles in Cooper Win
Cooper picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Isaiah Johnson. Johnson did his part (and then some), picking up 86 receiving yards and two touchdowns for the 'W'.
Johnson is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Boone County on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Johnson saw the Rebels), he picked up 181 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

A Season-Best Effort from T.J. Hicks Leads Highlands over Boone County
Highlands was led to victory by T.J. Hicks, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Hicks picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and made seven total tackles (2.0 for loss).
This season, Hicks has averaged 7.2 total tackles per game and for the season has those 1 sack. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 0.88 total tackles per game.
