Baseball Recap: Bakersfield Christian Extends Winning Streak to Three

Bakersfield Christian waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Bakersfield Drillers. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by exactly ten runs.

Deakin Brinkley was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Ryan Burgess was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles.

Bakersfield Christian's record now sits at 14-6-1. As for Bakersfield, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 13 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-19-1 record this season.
