Basketball Recap: Fostoria Redmen vs. Lake Flyers
After flying high against Northwood last Thursday, Fostoria came back down to earth. The Fostoria Redmen fell to the Lake Flyers 43-39. The Redmen haven't had much luck with the Flyers recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Several Redmen players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alycia Middlebrooks, who posted 13 points and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Lyrique Johnson, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 13 boards.
Fostoria's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Lake, they moved to 2-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
