Softball Recap: Eastlake Finds Home Field Redemption Against Lake Washington

There's no place like home for Eastlake, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They never let the Lake Washington Kangaroos get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Friday. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by nine runs or more this season.

Audrey Borup was a standout: she went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Macie Parthemer, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Eastlake was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .435. The last time their batting average was this high was back in May of 2024.

Eastlake's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-5. As for Lake Washington, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastlake will square off against Bothell/Inglemoor at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake Washington, they will take on Redmond at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
