Football Recap: Edwards County Lions vs. Carmi-White County Bulldogs
Edwards County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 48-6 loss at the hands of the Carmi-White County Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 44-7 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.
Noah Pollard was his usual excellent self, rushing for 203 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry for Carmi-White County. Pollard didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made four total tackles. Kade Stockton also helped with two touchdowns in total.
