Baseball Recap: Locust Grove Takes a Loss

Locust Grove lost against Miami back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Locust Grove fell just short of Miami by a score of 6-4. That's two games in a row now that the Pirates have lost by exactly two runs.

Locust Grove has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. Miami's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-7.

While Locust Grove had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
