Soccer Recap: Philadelphia Comes Up Short

Philadelphia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Mississippi School for Mathematics & Science Blue Waves, falling 5-2. The Tornadoes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Waves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Philadelphia's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Mississippi School for Mathematics & Science, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Philadelphia will be playing at home against Winona at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mississippi School for Mathematics & Science, they will venture away from home to square off against Vardaman at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
