Gardner came out on top against Murdock on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run fifth inning. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Blue Devils with a sharp 8-2 win. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Gardner's record is now 7-4. As for Murdock, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gardner will take on Bromfield at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wildcats are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Murdock, they will challenge West Boylston at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
