Softball Recap: Morristown-Hamblen West Comes Up Short

Morristown-Hamblen West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 9-3 to the Hardin Valley Academy Hawks.

Morristown-Hamblen West now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Hardin Valley Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-20.

Looking ahead, Morristown-Hamblen West will head out on the road to face off against David Crockett at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans are facing the Pioneers at the right time seeing as the Pioneers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Hardin Valley Academy, they will welcome Tazewell at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Hawks surely won't give up without a fight.
