Athens is 8-2 against Wyalusing Valley since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Wildcats will be playing at home against the Rams at 3:00 p.m. One thing working in Athens' favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.

On Friday, Athens blew past Towanda, posting a 54-7 win. Considering the Wildcats have won five games by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wyalusing Valley). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Canton 42-7. The victory was some much needed relief for the Rams as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Wyalusing Valley's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-5. As for Athens, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Athens strolled past Wyalusing Valley when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a score of 29-13. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
