Volleyball Recap: Simsbury Comes Up Short

The Simsbury Trojans didn't have quite enough to beat Sports & Medical Sciences Academy/Bulkeley on Friday and fell 3-2. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Simsbury took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 20-25, 23-25, 25-23, 15-11.

Simsbury's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Sports & Medical Sciences Academy/Bulkeley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Simsbury will venture away from home to square off against Kolbe-Cathedral at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sports & Medical Sciences Academy/Bulkeley, they have already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Capital Prep on the 14th.
