Softball Recap: Tenafly Comes Up Short

Tenafly was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 18-4 to the New Milford Knights.

Ryan Lines made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was J'Lyn De Jesus Bermudez, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI.

Tenafly's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for New Milford, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tenafly will welcome Bergenfield at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for New Milford, they will be playing at home against Wood-Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
