Volleyball Recap: Concord-Carlisle Comes Up Short

Concord-Carlisle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Lincoln-Sudbury Warriors. The Patriots were not able to make up for their loss to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

While Concord-Carlisle ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-19, 18-25, 25-17.

Concord-Carlisle's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Lincoln-Sudbury, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Concord-Carlisle will head out to square off against Burlington at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lincoln-Sudbury, they will be playing at home against Needham at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
