Football Recap: Engadine Eagles vs. Onaway Cardinals
Engadine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 30-14 bruising from the Onaway Cardinals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 22-16 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
Loss or not, Engadine got some senior leadership from David Parker and Hunter Cameron. Parker rushed for 101 yards on only 13 carries, while Cameron. picked up 38 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The dominant performance gave Parker a new career-high in rushing yards.
