Recap: Alta Hawks vs. East Leopards
The Alta Hawks can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They breezed by East on the road to the tune of 81-51. Alta's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Leafa Niumeitolu continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 42 points along with seven rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last seven times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklynn Larsen, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds.
The victory was the ninth in a row for Alta, bringing their record for this year to 15-2. As for East, their loss was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-13.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Skyline the next time they take the court. Alta will host Skyline at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while East will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
