After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Regis, D.C. Everest was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 54-44 win over the Wausau West Warriors. The Evergreens' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the loss, Wausau West had strong showings from Olivia Colwell, who went 6 of 11 en route to 12 points, and Ayla Christensen, who posted 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Harper Mead, who had four points.

D.C. Everest's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-7. As for Wausau West, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.

D.C. Everest wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 59-32 loss against Shawano Community on the 11th. As for Wausau West, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-25 win against Wausau East on the 10th.
