After a string of four wins, Arroyo Grande's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Atascadero Greyhounds by a score of 1-0. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Greyhounds earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as oneset needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The final score came out to 27-25.

Arroyo Grande's defeat dropped their record down to 24-10. As for Atascadero, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.

Arroyo Grande will host Mission College Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Atascadero, they will venture away from home to face off against St. Joseph at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
