Baseball Game Preview: Durango Demons vs. Grants Pirates

The Durango Demons will take on the Grants Pirates in a tournament on Saturday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Durango had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 7-3 to Piedra Vista. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 12 in a row.

Durango saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grady Feeny, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Meanwhile, after soaring to ten runs the game before, Grants was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Farmington. The Pirates' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
