Basketball Recap: Sleepy Eye Sets Scoring Season-High Against Wabasso

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sleepy Eye). They blew past the Wabasso Rabbits 90-35 on Friday. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Sleepy Eye has also been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.6 points per game. As for Wabasso, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-20.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sleepy Eye will welcome Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Sleepy Eye surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wabasso, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Murray County Central at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
