Baseball Recap: Pearce Takes a Loss

Pearce kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 3-0 to the Wylie Pirates. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to them when the teams met back in February of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The victory made it two in a row for Wylie and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Looking ahead, Pearce will venture away from home to take on Flower Mound at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wylie has already played their next game (against Spring Hill), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
