Soccer Recap: Hilliard Takes a Loss

After flying high against Global Outreach Charter Academy last Thursday, Hilliard came back down to earth. The Hilliard Red Flashes came up short against the University Christian Christians on Tuesday, falling 8-0. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Flashes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 back in November.

Hilliard's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for University Christian, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Hilliard will welcome Fernandina Beach at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for University Christian, they will venture away from home to take on Providence School at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. University Christian's defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so Providence School's offense will have their work cut out for them.
