Volleyball Recap: Vandegrift Comes Up Short

Vandegrift's tournament run continued when they took on Cathedral Catholic on Thursday. The Vipers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dons. The Vipers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jenna Hehman paced Vandegrift's offense, picking up seven kills. Hehman got some help from Sadie Jorgensen and her 15 assists.

Vandegrift's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Cathedral Catholic, the win (which was their 25th in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 2-0.

Vandegrift wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Brandeis on the 28th. As for Cathedral Catholic, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against The Woodlands on the 28th.
