             Xavier College Prep has gone 8-2 against Desert Vista recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Tuesday. The Xavier College Prep Gators will stay at home for another  game and welcome the Desert Vista Thunder at 6:00  p.m. Xavier College Prep will be strutting in after a  victory while Desert Vista will be coming in after a  defeat.
 Xavier College Prep is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another  one of Arizona's top teams: Corona del Sol, who was ranked fifth  in their home state at the time (Xavier College Prep was ranked first). Xavier College Prep walked away with  a   3-1  win over Corona del Sol  on Thursday.
 The final score came out to 25-21, 25-17, 20-25,  25-20.
 Xavier College Prep's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Mattea Saunders, who  had 36  digs, two  aces,  and a  kill. That's the most  aces  Saunders has posted  in her last nine  contests. The team also got some help courtesy of  Olivia Lenz, who  had 18  digs.

 Meanwhile, Desert Vista was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight  loss. They came up short against  Mesa, falling  3-0.
 Xavier College Prep pushed their record up to 24-3 with the  victory, which was their seventh straight  at home. As for Desert Vista, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-17.
