Ezekiel Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 15-7 to the Lowndes Academy Rebels. One positive for the Knights, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Conner Campbell was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing four bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2024. Brennan Hancock also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Ezekiel Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

When Ezekiel Academy and Lowndes Academy next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Ezekiel Academy will face off against Edgewood Academy and their four-game winning streak at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Lowndes Academy will try to stop Lakeside School's six-game winning streak when they meet at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
