Softball Recap: Nicolet Takes a Loss

Nicolet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 32nd straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Hartford Orioles, falling 16-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Orioles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 back in April.

Nicolet's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Hartford, their victory bumped their record up to 13-3.

Coming up, Nicolet will be playing at home against Port Washington at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Pirates have averaged an impressive 8.8 runs per game this season. As for Hartford, they will head out to challenge West Bend West at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
