Soccer Game Preview: Heritage vs. Booker T. Washington

The Heritage Hurricanes will face off against the Booker T. Washington Mighty Bookers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Heritage's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Heritage fell victim to Gloucester and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Dukes. While losing is never fun, Heritage can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 263rd, while Gloucester are ranked 18th).

Meanwhile, Booker T. Washington and Warwick combined for 17 shots on goal on Monday, which explains the impressive five total goals scored. The Mighty Bookers came up short against the Raiders, falling 4-1. One thing that didn't help Booker T. Washington's chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Raheem Taylor.
