Softball Recap: Ellington Knights vs. Suffield Wildcats
In what's become a running theme this season, Ellington gave their fans yet another huge victory on Monday. They never let the Suffield Wildcats onto the board and left with a 17-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Ellington.
Sara Gilbert was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Gilbert was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4.
In other batting news, Tyla Gambacorta was incredible, going 1-for-3 with a home run and five RBI. Brynlee Eckels was another key contributor, scoring two runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
