Evangel Christian strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the Wiregrass Kings 66-45. The Lightning have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 21 points or more this season.

Hudson Walker had another great game (as he tends to do), going 6-for-12 on his way to 16 points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ben Bugnar, who posted 11 points along with seven boards and four blocks.

Evangel Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wiregrass only racked up five.

Brayden Treadaway and Kobe Reynolds certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Treadaway shot 40% from the field to rack up 18 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals, while Reynolds scored nine points.

Evangel Christian's record now sits at 8-0. As for Wiregrass, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.

Evangel Christian will be playing at home against Valiant Cross Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Wiregrass, they will be taking part in a tournament against Abbeville Christian Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
