If Windsor was feeling good fresh off their 19-7 takedown of Analy last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Jaguars took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinal Newman Cardinals on Thursday. The Jaguars' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Windsor saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaihla Jarvinen, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Windsor's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 9-4. As for Cardinal Newman, they pushed their record up to 10-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Windsor and Cardinal Newman should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Jaguars will face off against Healdsburg at 6:30 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (256 vs. 717). Meanwhile, Cardinal Newman (ranked 238th) will meet Analy (ranked 840th) at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
