Recap: Roxborough Wolves vs. Tacony Academy Charter Lions
The Roxborough Wolves scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Tacony Academy Charter 77-49 at home. Winning may never get old, but Roxborough sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Sahir Smith continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 20 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Stefan Phillips, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Roxborough has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. As for Tacony Academy Charter, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-13.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Martin Luther King the next time they take the court. Tacony Academy Charter will head out to face Martin Luther King at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday, while Roxborough will head out to face them at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
