Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bearden). They came out on top against the Strong Bulldogs by a score of 71-63 on Tuesday. While the Bears didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Bearden's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.8 points per game. As for Strong, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bearden will finish 2024 at home by hosting Smackover at 2:45 p.m. on December 27th. As for Strong, they will be home for the holidays to greet Junction City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Junction City will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Strong surely won't give up without a fight.
