Basketball Game Preview: Northwest Christian School Crusaders vs. Chewelah Cougars

The Northwest Christian School Crusaders will face off against the Chewelah Cougars at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Northwest Christian School came up short against Colfax and fell 69-60. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 65th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 11th).

Meanwhile, Chewelah also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Newport by a score of 59-48. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chewelah's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Northwest Christian School, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-5.

Everything came up roses for Northwest Christian School against Chewelah when the teams last played back in January, as the team secured a 70-41 victory. Will Northwest Christian School repeat their success, or does Chewelah have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
