Basketball Recap: Page Triumphs

Page won the last time they faced Southeast Guilford and things went their way on Friday too. The Page Pirates secured a 62-58 W over the Southeast Guilford Falcons.

Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Byron Arant, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayce Brannon, who posted 12 points.

Page is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points per game. As for Southeast Guilford, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

Page will take on Northern Guilford at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southeast Guilford, they will host Western Alamance at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
