Soccer Recap: West Lincoln Comes Up Short

West Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Franklin County Bulldogs. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in December of 2024.

West Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Franklin County, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-3-1.

West Lincoln has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Forest Hill on the 16th. As for Franklin County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 1-0 loss against Loyd Star on the 16th.
