Concord won the last time they faced Lenawee Christian and things went their way on Saturday too. The Yellowjackets came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 7-4. That looming 7-4 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Yellowjackets yet this season.

Charlie Cole was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI. Lucas Tyler also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Concord kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Concord's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Lenawee Christian, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-7.

Looking ahead, Concord is taking a road trip to face off against Springport at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lenawee Christian, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Sand Creek at 4:00 p.m.
