Baseball Recap: Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets vs. North Baltimore Tigers

Cory-Rawson lost against North Baltimore back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Fighting Hornets lost 16-3 to the Tigers. That's two games in a row now that the Fighting Hornets have lost by exactly 13 runs.

Mason Hall put in work while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Hall was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2.

Hall wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Lane Banner, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Cory-Rawson dropped their record down to 1-3 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for North Baltimore, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
