Basketball Recap: Easton Takes a Loss

Easton has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 61-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fort Fairfield Tigers on Saturday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-45 back in December of 2024.

Easton's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Fort Fairfield, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Easton will welcome Washburn at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Easton is facing Washburn at the right time seeing as Washburn is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Fort Fairfield, they will be playing at home against Southern Aroostook at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Fort Fairfield's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
