Baseball Recap: Linfield Christian Find Success

Linfield Christian won the last time they faced Rancho Christian and things went their way on Saturday too. The Lions came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 7-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Noah Getz looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Linfield Christian saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Drew Taylor, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run. That's the most RBI Taylor has posted since back in March of 2024. Carson DeGrave was another, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple and one run.

Linfield Christian's victory bumped their record up to 13-5-1. As for Rancho Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Linfield Christian will take on Ontario Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rancho Christian, they will face off against Perris at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
